In the interest of transparency, we wanted to give you an update on one of the sample products for our first box.
The makeup brushes, which were announced as an item after orders were closed, were marketed to us, and to our buyers as MAC products.
After investigation and verification, we have discovered that these brushes are not produced by or affiliated with MAC Cosmetics in any way.

Despite this issue, we have taken the time to test and inspect the brushes, and have found that they are safe and meet our quality standards.
Therefore, they will be included in the box.

We at CosBox are as disappointed and upset about this as you may be; however, please remember that we are a startup, and mistakes are bound to happen.
If these brushes were not safe or did not meet our quality standards, they would not be sent to our customers.

As these brushes were not announced until orders were closed, there will be no refunds offered as a result of this discovery.

Thank you for your patronage, and we look forward to continuing to provide quality samples to you in the future.
As in cosplay, we will learn and grow from our mistakes, and appreciate your support as we do so.
