I'd been a fan of Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler) for a couple of years, and batted around the idea of cosplaying Ciel several times, but I'd never been able to decide on which outfit. Rynn and I had decided to make Lizzie and Ciel for Anime Matsuri 2011 (though, we didn't finish them in time) and initially we had planned to cosplay the old Valentines illustration with Lizzie in a green dress, and Ciel in a black suit w/ plaid accents. Mid-January, this image was published, and I absolutely freaked out. So much, that we changed our plans, and decided to do these.
