This is the track outfit Ataru wears in the first episode of the series where he has to play a game of tag against Lum. The clothes were store bought, but they were decorated and screen printed by me. I used the technique of applying masking tape to the clothes, outlining the area to be painted, putting a piece of cardboard inside to keep it flat and in place, then paint it using brushes. They were then air dried or with a fan. The result is better than I expected. Wig styled originally by my wife and I then restyled it later. Then just generic sneakers to wear to complete it. Recently I finished the white stripes on the shorts, so they reach the top finally.
