This was the first what I'd call detailed costume I ever made. I want to come back to this now that I've got another full year of sewing and crafting under my belt, but for a first crack at a LOT of techniques, hey, it wasn't awful. I'm just sad the interfacing in my boots failed & they ended up looking pretty janky.

I won a shoot with Arda for this costume, which was cool! Dewey was such a pleasure to work with.

I also got to cosplay with the lovely Loren (loren-malvo.tumblr) and Maureen (tomyo.tumblr) as my Ryuko and Mako, respectively. PLUS this is the costume I wore when I met my dear friend Krista, so it will always be special :')
