Several planets lined up to make my eye brows that bad. First I had only done one make-up test and never practiced cell shading. The morning of the con I decided to pluck my eyebrows for the first time in my entire life. My tweezers were nickle plated; I'm allergic to nickle. The eye shadow I used I had a reaction to in the past. So I have these giant open pores reacting to nickle and I fill them full of this eye shadow. Then I went to do cell shading with a brand new tube of liquid liner. I opened it and the brush was forked. So I was attempting to draw thin lines with that thing. The lines went on so thick. I wiped it off with a baby wipe and tried again, twice. By then I had been doing make-up for 4 hours and just wanted to be at PAX already. I camped by the computer for 3 weeks to get my one day pass and didn't want to spend the time doing make-up. I get coffee on the way. I didn't drink anything else all day because I didn't want to mess up my make-up. By the end of the day my right eyelid was so swollen then I had to put my hand on it to be able to see normally.

The swelling only went down when I wiped my eye off with an Olay make-up removing wipe.

TL;DR Do your make-up test, mind your allergies and stay hydrated, kids.

The wig started out as a periwinkle and I dyed it with royal blue Rit dye and alcohol.
