Neo Politan -RWBY by Hazrd-Us Cosplay

Finished the wig on Feb 8th after about a week of working on it on and off.
Wig Used: Luthien in Bubblegum Pink.

I cut the 1/3rd I needed brown off of the wig and dyed that with iDye Poly. I then hand stitched it back on and pincurled the entire wig by hand. After that, I hand stitched in the white wefts and was finally able to cut and style the fringe.
The entire process took about 11 hours all together, but I worked on it for a good week straight while taking small breaks so I didn't set the damn thing on fire.

This is the second wig I tried for her, I first tried a $13 wig from ebay. While they work for cosplays and I always suggest Ebay first if you don't have money for Arda, a $13 wig is exactly what you pay for. Needless to say, I wasted a lot of time on a wig that wouldn't dye. I tried 3 different methods and they all just washed off.

Lesson Learned- If you are going to dye it, buy Arda.

The white wefts were purchased off of Ebay for about $0.86 each. There are 3 in the wig and I have 3 more that I got just in case something happens.
