Military jacket, blouse and trousers were bought, though I plan on eventually making the latter. The baggy-look my current jeans have keep irritating me. Harness was made out of 2" pleather (colour: daytona) strips folded in half and sewn together. The back padding was made sewing two layers of grey pleather against each other. The same grey pleather was used for the 'fixtures' -that technically hold the 3DMG in place - though I inserted cardboard in-between the layers for the ones at the thighs and craft foam for those around the waist.
The cape is made of Ponti di Roma with lining on the inside. I also painted the Survery Corps insignia on an old white bedsheet and satin-stitched it on the cape. I've also gone back and satin-stitched all black outlines in the design, since my black paint washed out. As for the boots, it's just a regular pair of knee-high boots that I added black pleather to give it more shape and added some brown strings at each end. I'll eventually paint them brown so they can match with the harness.
My waistskirt was made using a mixture of CasuallyDiregarding's and Aliasdotcom's tutorials. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the fabric that I used to make this. As for the wig, it's Arda's Magnum Long in Light Blond that I just cut to give it more of a bowl-cut shape.
3DMG is a slow progress, but it's coming along. Currently using cheap foamboard from the dollar store to create the skeleton for the blade compartments.
