I'd wanted to do Briar Rose specifically for a while--Sleeping Beauty is my favorite classic Disney film, aesthetics-wise--but my husband isn't that interested in Disney Princess cosplay (and he's always got a lot of his own projects for ECCC anyway). I started these for ECCC 2017 but ran short on time. Luckily the cape still fit my son this year! He had a lot of fun, especially meeting the other princesses at con. Still hoping to finish a shield and upgrade his sword a bit.
