I had about a week of free time, a bolt of yellow gabardine, and a vintage skirt pattern I'd been dying to use! This started off as a test more than anything, of how quickly I could finish something, and then I realized how close GeekGirlCon was and decided I needed something new in honor of Ranma 1/2's 30th birthday.

The blouse took a bit more time than I wanted because I decided to actually do a muslin for it and had to make multiple adjustments, but I actually finished it in time for the con. My first time completing a project so quickly in a while; 2+ weeks start to finish! I did run into some issues making the buttonholes on the last day, so I ended up using snaps instead, but otherwise it turned out really well. The blouse pattern will also come in handy for several other projects that I have planned, so that's a bonus!
