I've only been cosplaying since 2012, but have always love costumes and costume making. My friends who have been cosplaying longer than I have inspired me to try it and I immediately got hooked. I cosplay 60% for the love of the character I'm portraying; 40% because I really love the costume. The more unique the design the more I want to make that costume.
