I knew as soon as I left the theater where I saw this movie, I HAD to cosplay this character. I worked on it a lot right away, even getting in touch with two of the producers (wow!!) to ask questions about the making of the costumes in the film, but I still hit a brick wall for a while, and had to set it aside. Eventually, I got it finished just in time for the Katsucon/MAGfest back to back weekends, and have had a blast wearing it! There were a lot of new challenges making this for me, some I didn't even expect, but it's comfy and cute, and people who recognize the movie always seem into it, so I feel like I've done well! I've even gotten a few shout-outs on the official social media for Turbo Kid, which is amazing. This is one of my favorite cosplays to date!
