I am a midwest cosplayer. I started when I was in college at Michigan State University and have continued it through the years. Cosplay is the one thing I can always go back to no matter where I am.
I lived in Japan teaching English for 2 years. It was a crazy wild time but also very difficult. I have chosen to live in the USA again and I plan to pursue costuming as a career. It's kind of a slow go but I am doing my best! Wish me luck!
