I am Lauren Starks (yes that is my real last name) but i am better known as Rennie.

I have been cosplaying since before I even knew what cosplay was. I just knew I loved to dress up as my favorite characters! For Halloween, parties, home watching Pokemon, grocery stores and more, I would dress up. My first cosplay was in 2000, I was 8 and I was Vaporeon from Pokemon.

However, I didn't start really making all my costumes until about 10 years ago. I was 11 or 12 going to my first con: Megacon in Orlando FL. I fell in love and have been seriously cosplaying ever since.

I am now going to fashion design school to improve my cosplays and someday turn this into a career. But for right now I do it for fun, and I write articles about it :)
