When I saw Shirayuki's human form, I knew I had to cosplay her. I love that she's completely elegant and graceful, yet hardcore. It doesn't help that I have a weakness for yuki-onna/Ice Queen characters, haha.

Furisode: I used a crepe-backed satin, and used the "wrong" side of the fabric to get the look I wanted. I added hidden snaps along the collar and on the hips to get that fitted, mermaid-esque shape she has. Unfortunatly, I ran out of fabric when it came to the sleeves. :/ I would have loved to make them longer.
Obi: I made a nice little faux obi, which is basically just a rectangle that hooks in the back. The bow is detachable, and hook onto the back. I sewed the obijime onto the obi, so I wouldn't have to deal with tying it each time.
Obiage: I pretty much just made a long rectangular scarf and tied it under the obi. It doesn't tie like her's does, I know. The only tutorials I could find were for a square knot.
Footwear: You can't see my feet, but I have a pair of white zori and tabi socks. And I totally trip over my own feet when I try to walk.
Hair clips: Made of clay.
Wig: From Arda/Kingdom-Arts. There's a dispute on whether her hair is white, silver, or blue. I went with blue, because that's what it looks like to me.
Katana: Bought from eBay, and then I added the beads and ribbon
