Construction on this costume took a lot longer than I had anticipated! I wanted to make a Sakizo costume, but they were all so intimidating! I always loved Alice in Wonderland and a friend of mine was already working on Cheshire Cat so I decided to make this to go with her! I really do love it, even though it took me a year on and off to finish! The fabric was custom dyed with a color I blended myself to get a nice "watercolor" look. All the lines in the sleeves and bottom skirt ruffle are satin stitched in grey. There is some minimal beading done on the apron, the gold designs are done with hot fix "gems", and the painting was done using both stencil and free hand. The wig is from Epic Cosplay (ash blonde) and was curled by me and then gently brushed out. The key is actually an antique from my cabinet that I store my teacups in! I love this costume because not only do I feel adorable and fancy in it, but it's REALLY comfortable!
