Escaflowne is one of my all time favorite series... with one of those endings that makes me want to punch a wall.

This design is based off of a manga title "Happy Ending" and it's not only written and illustrated beautifully, it feels so much like the series itself that in my mind, it's how I definitely imagine things happening years after the series ended.
