I love Deedlit and I have wanted to make this costume for a few years, especially since my dear friend Envel said she would make Pirotess to go with me. I bought fabric for it and the wig, but it kept getting pushed back by other things. Overall, though, it was a pretty simple costume and super comfortable! The dress is made from dupioni silk, flat lined and serged. The bottom hem is hand tacked to the lining so that it is invisible on the outside. All the armor pieces are made with styrene, the designs done in 3d paint, and covered in a layer of worbla. The worbla was coated in 4 layers of shellac, 1 layer of gesso, then sanded with 400 grit sand paper, then painted and weathered. This was a really fun and comfortable costume to wear and I would love to wear it again! I feel like such a pretty elf in it! (I wonder why lol)
