This is my Yui Hongo from Fushigi Yuugi.
I made this costume in February of 2013 to wear to Utah's Nihon Matsuri.

I love these photos and how you can see the character emotion here. Awe, Yui! It's so full of feels! Not only is Fushigi Yuugi a good anime but it holds a special little place in my heart because when I had knee surgery, at age 19, I was alone and couldn't even make it out of the house, or even the basement! My sisters rearranged the furniture so we could all sit comfortably together and watch every episode of Fushigi Yuugi until I was able to walk again.
