This was the first costume I ever made. I wore it first at Katsucon 2012, and then modified the bodice/overskirt to wear at Animazement 2013.

Much as it pained me to hang my first costume up for good, I retired Garnet after MAGFest 2014. I do plan to eventually remake it entirely and add the details I wasn't able to this time around such as the glove decorations, fleur de lis along the underskirt, a boned bodice, and a more accurate wig.
