The idea behind Three actually came from Mao-chan; she is a big fan of the Drakenguard series and has always wanted to cosplay from it. When Drakenguard 3 was announced, it was clear in her mind that she wanted to do a group! I quite liked the character design so I chose Three.

I started working on this cosplay in November 2013, first by designing the fabric with the help of my friend Eru. I ordered it on Spoonflower and had it printed on beautiful cotton silk. The black bodice of the dress is peau de soie and the white veil are left overs from Janna XD I then started working on the scissors and the armour. Everything is made out of worbla and I used 2 XL sheets of worbla for this cosplay.

Working on this armour, I experimented a lot of wood filler to hide imperfections and hide seems in worbla armour and I really like the look I was able to achieve on my leg armour.

My idea behind first wearing this at Anime North 2014 was to "test run" this cosplay, knowing that our group will debute it together at Otakuthon. I want to improve a few things, notably, redo my scissors out of wood instead of EVA foam + worbla and find of way to balance the swords on the knee armor.
