I remade the dress for ALA, since the original was much too big, and I wasn't happy with how it looked. I used a slightly different pattern for the dress. Re-patterned the overskirts so they had more of a point on them, and were smaller, plus added the third layer of very small hip armor style pieces. I lined the gown with silver/gray instead of purple this time, and attached the sleeves to a bolero, making it a bit more accurate to her in game outfit. The trim is vintage French silk ribbon that I cut in half lengthwise, and trimmed with the gold from the rest of the costume, to add a little dimension to it. Also got some leather ballet flats and painted them purple to match the outfit using leather paint. Used the same gold faux leather trim as last time, only covered it with a satin stitch to give a more uniform look.
