Who doesn’t love Frozen right? Well I certainly fell in love with Anna’s character right away. She’s so sweet and fun that I just had to make her summer dress to go with my best friend’s Elsa! Some people ask me why I chose to do this outfit instead of her classic one. It’s pretty easy lol...I don’t like pink and I wanted to do a version that was not as much seen already.
Construction:
It was my first fabric project and I still had a bit of help from friends or family. I made all my own patterns and my mom helped me correct my corset pattern. I did a line too curvy for my fabric and we had to change this. My skirt is made with two different pieces that were sewed together: the underskirt and the skirt. I painted the details by hand with fabric paint, and my mom sewed the waistband to it since it gave me more time to finish the rest. My boots were already in my possession; I just cut them shorter and painted it all with fabric paint. I did all the details on them with a dark green sharpie. For the white shirt, I bought it and cut the sleeves and cut the collar. I added the bias tape on it and glued the worbla piece for the decoration. My best friend gave me a corset to wear under my shirt so I would look like I have a more disneyish waist. My best friend helped me make the top corset tighter.
Bought or commissioned:
My wig is a Warm light brown Eowyn from Arda-wigs. I bought my boots on Taobao and modified them. My white shirt was bought from a “Village des valeurs” and the rest was mostly made by me with a tiny bit of help.
