The leotard and tutu were made using the Jalie 2915 pattern. I did end up adding many more tulle layers to the tutu than the pattern called for, and I'm still not satisfied with it, unfortunately. It did work decently well for a one day photoshoot, but before I wear her at a convention, I will be a) buying tulle specifically meant for tutus because it's thicker, and b) making each layer at least two layer thick.
A success I had was was the hand drafted applique pieces on the bodice of the leotard! I hand drew the design on the paper side of some wax paper and traced that design onto heat-n-bond lite. the heat-n-bond was ironed to the blue sparkly fabric, then cut out. To keep the spacing of the applique pieces, I ironed them onto the waxy side of the wax paper to basically make a big applique stamp. I peeled the paper off the applique pieces and ironed them onto the leotard bodice, then removed the wax paper backing. Finally, I zigzag stitched around all the tiny curved edges so the pieces really stayed in place.
The wig is Arda's Magnum in light pink. I trimmed the back and bangs a bit shorter, separated out what I needed foe the ahoge, then added more layer to the top. The feathered headpiece is actually two separate teardrop shaped hair clips made from felt and covered with feathers. The tiara I had amongst my posessions.
