I purchased the bodysuit from Star-Tan, and she had already excellently painted on the red lines and circles! I should have found some 4-way stretch vinyl for the teal parts, but I wanted the costume to be finished in time for an upcoming convention, so I settled on patent vinyl, and it was such a pain! I have to fix it occasionally. Right now it's held on by fabric tack and hot glue, and I attached the pieces myself while wearing the costume. (Bad idea: you will burn yourself. I was swearing a lot while gluing them on.) The wig is from Arda, and I'm considering buying a second to sew in to give it more volume.

I picked this outfit of Nia's because I am not a small cosplayer. I rarely wear tight-fitting clothing -- much less a bodysuit! -- so I decided I wanted to do something that made me feel proud about my body. Sometimes I would be like, "Blegh, I feel like my stomach is sticking out," but the photos have been wonderful and have made me feel good.
