Holy...crap. I can't believe how long this costume took to make! And it technically isn't "finished" since I had to leave a couple of details out due to time constraints.
The armor is made out of Worbla and Worbla's Deco Art (with some Friendly Plastic as well). The "wings" were made out of vinyl and plastic tubing, and the belt was made with that same vinyl.
I can't believe how much I learned while working on this costume. It was a huge undertaking, but I learned new techniques, and now I know what to change the next time I make armor (which will be soon!). I was also a little nervous since it was slightly revealing, and I've never worn...well, no pants, for a costume before. I felt a little uncomfortable while wearing it, but I received so many compliments and kind words from my friends and fellow cosplayers. And now that I have seen the photos taken by professional photographers, I feel so much better about this costume! As great as a camera that my phone has, those selfies didn't do the costume justice. I had regrets in my costume choice along the way, but now I'm glad I picked something so difficult. I feel like I can tackle anything now.
