Nui was a labor of love, and I'm so glad I decided to cosplay her!
I bought the supplies to make her in 2014, but put it on pause when I felt that my skills weren't enough to pull this off the way I wanted to. In Fall 2015, I finally felt like I was ready to tackle her, and spent the next months looking at nothing but pink :p
This cosplay was more of my interpretation of taking her 2-D design and making it 3-D and realistic; forgoing the giant drill curls and large-scalloped skirts in favor of a design that might look like something a real person could wear.
I won 1st place Journeyman's at Setsucon with Nui, and I'm so proud of my work on this cosplay <3

During the chaos of the infamous Katsucon fire evacuation, my headbow decided to fly away into the harbor D: I'm hoping to remake it asap!

Wig is actually 2 Bodyline wigs spliced together (4 curly clips!)
