Out of all my Homestuck cosplays, I think the Condesce was one of my favorites. She went through a few iterations; starting with a dance leotard with ribbon glued on, to a handmade spandex swimsuit.
The wig is a monster of 2 (or 3? I don't remember lol) Arda Merry's with 2 curly clips added in.
The horns were actually made of pool noodles, and held to the wig by a 'tiara' made of coat hangers. The crown was made from Instamorph, and the teeth were fake fingernails glued to an instamorph bite plate.

It was definitely a lot of fun being a crazy fish alien queen, but I don't miss painting myself gray one bit :p
