I started with a pink T-shirt from JoAnns. (Yes, a premade shirt is cheaper than knit fabric sometimes!) I cut into it and hemmed it again with some interfacing so it didn't totally stretch out. The black and red designs were traced out and cut from heat transfer vinyl, and ironed on. (This is the greatest stuff ever for lazy costumes, or any costumes, really!) I found the leotard on Ebay. The high cut leotard is actually from the manga version. They are barefoot in the show, but I wear red flats for the convention.

I already had the wig and sync clips from my Asuka plgusuit.
