SNAKEY CHAN. Painful head. Bruised legs. Messy apartment. This was my most insane project ever and was sooo out of my cosplay "comfort zone." The tail is made from a ton of wire, foam, and spandex. It was quite a rush job before SDCC so the bottom of the tail is quite flaccid. The bodysuit includes the hands and a hood so I'm totally covered except for my face. The armor is all out craft foam and the skull on the chestplate is actually formed with hot glue! The headpiece is a wonderflex base with long wires, with stuffed fabric ontop of them. I forgot to make them stand up before the performance but they DO defy gravity. Sadly 100% of this costume went in the trash; she was huge and I had nowhere to store her.
