After putting off making this costume for about a year, I made it in less than 48 hours.

The dress is cut from a linen-rayon blend that I dyed using RIT Golden Yellow liquid dye.
I drafted my own pattern for the bodice by mocking up and heavily refitting a commercial princess seam bodice.
The dress has a quilting cotton lining in a cute polka dot print, spiral steel boning on the front princess seams for structure, and an invisible zipper on the left side seam.
I cut the blue choker from leftover satin that I fused with a light interfacing; it closes with velcro in back.
My shoes were purchased from DSW and are a perfect match for Asuka's mary janes.
I bought a plain watch from Walmart and used Angelus leather paint to recolor the band.

My ear clips are official NGE merch, and my wig was gifted to me many years back.
