I’m a big fan of the Idolm@ster games and anime, and the costumes were definitely a part of what attracted me to the series, so there was never a question whether I would cosplay from it. Takane is one of my favorite characters (I chose her along with Chihaya and Makoto when I played Idom@ster 2), and she is also tall like I am, so she was naturally my first choice to cosplay. I chose Forever Star because it is one of the more recognizable costumes in the series and because I was looking for a costume that would be relatively quick to make.

This was a convenient costume to make not just because of its fairly simple design but because I was able to use mostly fabric left over from other projects. The boots are also the same make that I’ve used for earlier costumes.
