I’m admittedly not the biggest Vocaloid fan, but I have always liked Gumi both in terms of her voice and her design. Seeing other Gumi cosplayers inspired me to make the costume myself, and I listened to a lot of her songs while working on it. This being one of my earlier costumes, there are a lot of things that could be better, but I’m still very happy with how it turned out, and I had a lot of fun with it.

At the time that I wore this costume, I didn’t have contacts, so my “goggles” are actually prescription glasses! It was fun seeing the world through a pink filter.
