Made 2013. This was one of my big dream cosplays (because I freaking love Saint Seiya and Hades was always my favorite armor design even though he himself was kinda a let down in that final battle) and took me a few years to finally get myself to attempt it. Took me about a year to construct it, working here and there. Its not the best by far but I'm still very proud of it. I just wish it was easier to wear and move in. But it was definitely a learning experience and I might go about things differently if I ever do armor on this scale again.

I made it primarily out of craft foam and plastic styrene. I think if I were to go back and redo it, I might consider using EVA foam instead for more stability. The base for the wings were constructed with PVC pipes that were bolted to a wooden back piece. The wings each have a pvc pipe in them that slides into the back piece and there's a certain order they go into otherwise I get a bit top heavy from the weight and have almost fallen over from it. XD Thus why I usually need like 2 people to help me in order to prevent that. Once they're in, I'm fine though.

My favorite part is actually the boots. XD I used wire to keep the wings in place and I'd wear just them by themselves if they didn't look so weird without the rest of it. lol
