Started making this in Oct 2013 and didn't fully finish until pretty much a full year later in 2014. Alyce and I had been wanting to do Elisabeth outfits since she first showed me the show like 10 years ago or whatever and then it took us like 5 years to actually start planning them til we finally felt ready enough to make them. XD But yes, big dream costumes for both of us! I decided to make an outfit from my personal favorite version of the show which is the 2002 Hanagumi version where Haruno Sumire (one of my favorite Takarazuka actresses) plays Der Tod.

There are about 8500 rhinestones on this thing and they were ALL sewn individually on by hand. @_@ Took me forever! lol There are over 4000 just on the boots alone. This was my first time working with velvet, first time dying a wig, first time doing beading, first time wearing such intense make-up, etc.

This costume is my pride and joy even though there are still parts of it I wish were better. XD But hey I tried!
