Basically, shortening the skirt reduced the poof factor significantly, so the shape just isn't right. Fixing it would have meant remaking the whole dress which I just didn't have time to do before Idolcon. I'm glad I at least had something to wear for Vegas photos but I definitely don't plan on ever wearing it again.
