YES THIS IS AN ACTUAL OUTFIT

This was a pretty fun distraction from Fanime cosplay crunch. I hate hand-painting but doing freezer-paper stencils is kind of cathartic for me. As is intentionally making things look like shit 8D
Bought shirt from Goodwill, cut off sleeves and neckline. Senketsu face done with freezer paper stencils and straight acrylic paint (yes I got the face backwards oh well it's more punk rock that way). Shorts are a pair of my fat pants from high school (that I sadly fit in again, sigh) that had holes worn in the crotch. Basically I kept them around in case I ever felt like turning them into shorts. That day finally came.
Didn't realize most t-shirt distressing methods require several days of soaking to achieve, and I had only a manner of hours so I used diluted bleach on both the shirt and shorts. All other distressing was done with scissors, sandpaper, and a seam ripper.
Jacket is HAND MADE BY ME from my previous Ryuko costumes. It's not technically part of the outfit but I thought it would look cool and it made posing easier and more fun. Swoopies~~~
