Originally made in 2012 for a Persona 4 themed cafe! Still needs to actually be finished...
- The fabric was quilted by hand - as in, I drew all the lines, then stitched along them with batting underneath the fabric. Not at all difficult, but tedious as hell x___x The fabric is just a nice bottomweight that isn't too heavy.
- It was my first time lining a jacket so the lining is not great.
- The jacket closes with snaps (HAHAHA NO IT DOESN'T THEY POP OPEN CONSTANTLY) and a lot of safety pins.
- Had a lot of problems with the gold rings, ended up having them embroidered by Eshiza in the hotel room the night before the cafe (oops).
- Realized after I sewed on the collar that it was too long, so I folded the top part over and stitched it down as a quick fix. No button holes so the collar was held closed with a safety pin >>;;
Finally in 2014 I am fixing it up!
- Stitching near the ends of the sleeves and hem for a crisper edge
- Replaced collar
- Replaced buttons (smaller + better size, custom painted to match)
- Stitched down the stupid black parts on the shoulders (they were only hand-stitched in before)
- Added a zipper behind the front panel (OMG WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE JACKET STAYS CLOSED NOW??)
