This was a fun project because I enjoy making seifuku, but I like making unusual seifuku even better.
All fabrics are poly poplin. Altered my collar pattern to have three colored panels. I tried to make a two-toned pleated skirt but I am SO bAD at box pleats, so I had to go back and use fabric paint in between the pleats to get the proper look.
But you don't care about any of that, you want to know about the bow. The secret to the bow is Sintra. I formed each piece, covered it in fabric, and glued it all together. The "connector" ends are Sintra also. There is wire inside the bow that is threaded through the top of the wig and wrapped around a headband to keep it securely on my head (though it does give me a headache after too long).
I added custom-made bias tape to the stockings and re-used my shoes from Riven! Except at Fanime when I gave up and wore flats.
