First time making armor and boy was a it a learning curve!
After researching materials, methods and everything in between for a year this was a great test run for some near future projects. It's always a great experience to learn something new! This includes what it takes to wear armor...even as light as this one was.
Materials:
EVA Foam, Fun Foam, Hot glue (1st time using one)/ E6000 mix, Elastic, and the buckles one would use to make para-chord bracelets (1/2" and 1"). The lycra suit was bought on ebay and modified. The shoes have left over glove fabric as I'm way too OCD about matching colors/shades of colors in all pieces involved.
Wig: Found a great "punk" wig from an ebay store called "Panda" and added in platinum wefts that were purchased from Sally's. 80's Rock mullet....achieved.
I'm very proud of this costume even with the imperfections and the fact that my body type isnt perfect for this cosplay. I look forward to upgrading and improving this as I improve my skills for armor. May even make a gold version. We'll see.
