Costume made by me. Constructed from June - August 2014.

Blazer: The pattern was based off of a McCall's blazer pattern. I made a mock-up to get the proportions and shape right. I hate how puffy sleeves look (they remind me of the dance scene from Napoleon Dynamite), so I chose to keep the puffiness to a minimum. Pink suiting and red twill were used to make the blazer, and the edges of the lapels are done with red satin to add some texture.

Skirt: The knife-pleat skirt was drafted from scratch. Purple stretch suiting as opposed to cotton was used to make the skirt so that it gives it some weight and prevents wrinkles, because I don't want to iron a pleated skirt again. The bottom is seamlessly hemmed using a blind hem stitch.

Wig was cut and styled by me. Stockings and shoes are from my own closet.
Red and blue staplers were spray-painted by the s/o (thank you!).
