I've always enjoyed Castlevania games and Maria has been a character I have wanted to cosplay for at least a decade and 95% of the materials had been collected but were in a bag, waiting for me to actually make the costume. When a friend mentioned plans to make Alucard I knew it was time to kick myself into gear. A mutual friend had also been wanting to make a Richter costume too so in the words of Cena, "My time is now" LOL.

Thankfully, this was not a horrible costume to make, it was comfortable to wear, and I rather like how it photographs. I also was able to repurpose a wig. It's the one I used for Rafiel (Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn). I only had to get gloves and the silver trim. Materials used: Random green suede (jacket), green lining, black lycra (shorts), gold bridal satin (sash).
