Update May 2014:
Just got back from MCM Comic Con London after a third wearing of Team America. This time I had a lace front wig in order to get the natural centre parting I wanted (alas the wig was unstyled, as the curlers I had in it to create the bob had no effect), and also bought new knee pads, and made a new belt. Had a great time, and even managed to do a proper photo shoot!

Dream cosplay completed!!! I'd been dying to cosplay Team America for years, and finally got round to it for London MCM Expo in May 2013. We also did a rewear for Ayacon 2013. I am incredibly jealous of my Gary's wig, as it came out amazingly, in comparison to my wig on both attempts, which was a bit pants. Also Gary's wig was another hotel room styling job (see ranting under "Beth Tezuka Ballgown" for further information). I will try Lisa again with another wig when our next rewear comes around.
