The hoodie is made out of jersey lined with fleece in alternating red and black colors. I attempted to draft a "jester"-esque hood for the hoodie, rather than a plain hood, and I'm ok with how it turned out even though it's not quite what I envisioned. The dress is made out of some left over cotton sateen from another costume. I used the bodice pattern that I drafted for my Terra costume and attached a circle skirt and some straps. The tights used to be a red pair and a black pair that I cut up and sewed together. The wig is the same wig that I used a few years ago for my Maka Albarn costume. I had to re-do the pigtails and leave out a few face framing pieces since the wig had gotten pretty rumpled from being stored for 4+ years.

This costume was inspired by Meredith McClaren's adorable "casual" Harley Quinn (http://meredithmcclaren.tumblr.com/post/50364231837/harley-quinn-c-dc-comics-artwork-by-meredith). I made the dress and hoodie last minute to wear while working the cosplay contest table for a pop culture convention.
