Snow White isn't one of my favorite Disney princess movies, but I love the original fairytale and I'm ridiculously pale so it's a good fit for me. I also can't resist costumes that have lots of beautiful detail (embroidery, beading, and gradient dye oh my!)
The floral crown is made out of wire covered in floral tape, leafy vines, and faux flowers in various sizes and colors. The bodice is made from a frankensteined pattern made of various pieces from different patterns. It's made from stretch cotton sateen that was gradient dyed, hand embroidered, and hand beaded. The sleeves are made from organza and the cuffs are also embroidered and beaded. The skirt and cape are made from cotton sateen that was also gradient dyed and the hem of the skirt was painted using various sized paint pens. The bodice is lined and the skirt is finished with a french hem. The cape connects with some snaps to the hand covering pieces and is detailed with rhinestones. The wig is a Matilda in black from Arda Wigs; I trimmed the length significantly and curled it with a curling iron and a lot of hairspray.
