When the news of Korra first came out and we had that cool back shot of her I wanted to cosplay her. Then they gave us a frontal view as well as a small clip of her in action and I still had the need to make the costume. But I came up with the idea that my best friend was an even better fit for the character.

The costume was pulled together really quickly because my friend wanted to cut her hair but not wear a wig so we worked with what we had. Honestly, I think the costume is pretty good for what we could do with it. my only issue was that darn shirt neck, but now with a proper pattern I plan on remaking it when she wants to wear it again.
