The wig was dyed and styled by my friend Princelycosplay!! They also made the chocolate chips on the wig and one of the ice creams for the head. I made the other, following their guide. The cones, which I plan to remake, are cut out of craft foam, then sealed and painted with a few coats of brown was for an uneven, natural look. I'm later going to remake these with more texture so they look even more like waffle cones.
The necklace is hand dyed bridal satin with lace trim and a hand-cast resin gem in the center, surrounded by small gold beads.
The bralette is also bridal satin, with the green sections hand dyed. It features two trims on top; the eyelet lace had the ribbon removed and replaced with a more appropriate color, which I had to trim and burn the edges of to seal. All the ruffles on the costume are hand-done. This was my first bralette, so I'm quite pleased with it!
The corset's green segments were, similarly, dyed, as are both the plum laces and trims on the front panels. I also screenprinted all of the polka dots onto the satin. This was my first time adding grommets to an outfit and, while I still have a lot to learn, I think it's alright for a first attempt! The corset is fully boned and laces up in the back; the front lacing is purely decorative.
The underwear and thigh highs were made using the same techniques. The shoes are a cheap pair of pumps from the thrift store, painted with leather paint and decorated with bows.
I worked on this on and off for a few weeks, though most of the costume was done in about two days. I hope to use this as a starting point to get into more complex costumes, eventualy working my way up to some of sakizo's more complex works!
