Our annual Katsucon Sailor Moon group decided to do the Silver Millennium outfits the girls wear during the end theme of Sailor Moon S.

We all look like pretty sailor easter eggs in these pastel gowns <3

I searched through 8 fabric stores & a TON of online stores looking for fabric that was the right color for Mars (an orchid/light purple/pink). It's the Pantone color of the year. WHY IS FINDING IT SO HARD? Finally found it, & its fabric lining! It's so perfect & it drapes so well.

The top of the gown is a princess cut bodice, the skirt is 2 circle skirts sewn together & then roll hemmed. Thanks to Becky (our Venus) for the construction idea. I love the shape this gown has. I drafted the pattern for the gold waist cincher & the sailor color. Waist cincher is a gold lame with duck cloth & featherweight boning. Appliques are swirls & Mars' symbol & are made out of gold heat transfer vinyl, gold spandex & heat n' bond. They're satin stitched onto the cincher.

Wings are from my Princess Euphemia costume, which is actually also from the closing theme, of Code Geass.
