HAHAHAHA. So Firewolf826 got into Haikyuu first, and watched 7 episodes (all that had been out at the time) in more or less one sitting. Of course she wanted to be Kageyama, so OF COURSE she was like, "Amanda, watch Haikyuu and be Hinata". It took me like a month to get into it, but as soon as I finished reading the first arc I was like YUP THESE SURE ARE OUR CHARACTER TYPES and the rest is history.
