I started this costume back in 2011, at that point all I made were the shoulder pauldrons and then abandoned the costume for a year because I was intimidated by the idea of making a full gown and bodice.
Summer of 2013 I picked it back up again and went at it with full force. I finished the costume in time for Montreal Comic Con 2013 and I later wore it to Ottawa Pop Expo 2013. I performed my first masquerade walk-on with this Zelda costume and it was a great experience, I even made it onto "Heroes of Cosplay" for a short cameo.
