This dress has over 100 hours of work time put into it.
The bodice of the dress is a full torso and fully boned, to help keep it in place. The dress is done up the back with an invisible zipper and two sets of heavy elastic bra closures, to help keep it tight on the torso. The three layers of full circle skirts (2 chiffon and 1 crepe) are baby hemmed to 1/8 inch, trimmed- roll hemmed, and then a tight satin stitch was done over top to give a ruffled look to the material. Between all the layers, there are over 200 ft of hems on this dress.
The bodice of the dress has over 2000 rhinestones placed on in for the circle pendants alone. With the rest of the bodice, the tiara, flowers, and arm bands; there are close to 2700 rhinestones on this outfit- with over 20 hours put into placing them. The bodice of the dress has about 25 ft of laces and trims and sewn onto it, in order to achieve the layers and depth of the detail of the dress in the artwork. There are also more than 500 seed pearls and 100 glass beads on the bodice of the dress - with 40+ hours of work hand sewing them all in place.
There are two sets of armbands for this outfit. The first is a fabric set made out of white crepe, and worn underneath a tear-away dress during a skit for their compress-ability. The second set is a more photo accurate set, made out of craft foam and mounted on a muslin/elastic armband.
